The East Bay Business Journal had a lot to say about us last month. Click HERE to view the article and enter the password: TRILOGY “We have always wanted to see what we could do with a new model,” Avram Goldman said. “The good news is most of the agents in the Danville office are very mobile and tech-savvy.” Enticed by an enhanced compensation package made possible by reduced overhead, approximately 25 agents opted to become virtual agents when the Danville office closed.

Jerry Kidd Leads Education Programs
Empowers Agents to Go Hi-Tech

Jerry Kidd

People are talking behind Jerry Kidd’s back, and it’s a good thing. As the newly appointed Director of Education and Training for Real Estate at Pacific Union GMAC Real Estate, Kidd is getting agent’s tongues wagging for his outstanding technology training and new online initiatives. Technology is here to stay and Kidd is intent on educating and empowering all of Pacific Union one agent at a time. “Jerry Kidd is priceless. He is thorough, articulate, informed and makes it especially easy to understand the world of technology, which is not my favorite area of real estate,” explained Carol Carruba, who works from the firm’s Opera Plaza office. “I have been at Pacific Union for eight years and he is the first person who has been able to connect technology with the bottom line – sales.”

A REALTOR® since 1986, Kidd embraces all things technology and is the driving force of many new technology initiatives currently taking place at Pacific Union. He recently brought to life a web-based calendar program to be used company-wide; it features all of his training courses, advertising deadlines, events and more, each posted by different departments in the organization for universal access. To keep everyone in the company informed and on the same page, Kidd e-distributes a weekly blast called Tuesday Tech Tips. He also hosts a tech blog at www.RealtyTechBytes.com.
